JusTHOUGHTS is—and has been—a standing personal project of mine where I give one, two or a few words and/or phrases that are either my personal opinion, philosophies and/or experience-driven observations. The formalization of this project will incorporate personal Art, Design and/or Photography with text quotes in the development of select apparel and associated products to be featured at LIAM IAN DESIGN.
Preliminary continued development of this project will commence gradually with an intention to be active in 2024. This project may include collaborator participation to assist in branding, marketing and market penetration and associated visibility activities. This project may also serve to replace current non-active projects that are slated to be dissolved. More information will be available on our PROJECTS page soon.

Today we—as a business based by and for People of Color, Ethnicity and Culture—are observing the tradition that most people—until recently—have come to celebrate as an American holiday; Thanksgiving, and the day that it should be as Indigenous Peoples Day.
Today we honor the lives that have been slain and lost due to the development and progression of the European exploratory, commercial and capitalist drive to develop this new nation. Thru Art, Design and Photographic-like visiualizations of those lost to history, we take a moment to show our respect to those lost and deprived. Those who lost their land for the sake of who and what we are today.
As matter of honor and respect for the Indigenous and Native American Peoples and others, we will not be using or designing any icon or iconic imagery as we may not be able to fully present them in the context and form that they ought to be. We believe in the right and capacity to use Art, Design and Photography as a means to creating, describing and defining the world and so for us, we’re choosing to establish within our office, studio and other proprietary spaces this day (Thanksgiving Day) to be acknowledged and recognized as Indigenous Peoples Recognition Day for without them, there would be no conception of what Thanksgiving is and what it should be all about.

“SOMETHING LIKE…” is a private Photography Project to develop a diverse portfolio of content and professional imagery gained thru camera, composition and post-editing skill proficiency.
Selecting 7 of the most influential and inspirational photographers of the modern eras, we seek to emulate and re-create the style and aesthetic impressions of these masterfully artistic photographers and creators. Our goal—beyond creating a diverse portfolio—is to engage the spirit of photography to create tasks and missions further explore the depths and potentials of the art and industry.
Beginning in August of 2022—yet continuing in 2023, we’re looking to book select target subjects, models and locations that will serve to help recreating the aesthetic and mood of select images. As a desired result, this project is also to assist in the development of private publication pieces and greater community involvement moving beyond the confines of already established comfort in already engaged genres.

*All contributors, collaborators and participants will be compensated for their involvement and fully recognized for their contributions. This project is planned and slated to operate for 1 year with a termination in August of 2023. Private Publication is to be engaged and executed immediately after.
**Because of the significant nature of this project, initial compensation negotiations start at $60/hr for subjects and models.
Images developed will also be published and seen within the annual year-end LIAM IAN SIGNATURE LOOK BOOK. Images will also require Consent to Publish Agreement as these images can and may be used across media platforms for branding and marketing purposes.
