As I—just as any other creator—love to delve into the aspects of a shoot and the editing process, I’m often informed by those images and selections I choose for art features.

A Beautiful Woman with a magnetic personality, Jenna helped us to capture what I believe is the spirit of things today. Existing within the concrete presence of urbanization, she’s seen in the moment looking off on things beyond the matter of the moment. In fact, her looking off is actually a part of the moment contextualizing the idea that none of us truly are living in the precent though surviving the day for tomorrow.

In this time where media is everywhere and just about everything, our goal is to continue to focus of the silent and moderate impacts of media as art on our lives. Pictures, video, paintings, advertisements and so much more, our world isn’t devoid of things to take our attention but we’re here to do our part in contributing to the creative tapestry and landscape. Even in the smallest way, we’re here to showcase what we create, why and why to matters.

**WE’RE STILL DOING OUR THING! I’M STILL DOING MY THING!**

While many nowadays rely on their mobile devices to capture moments—with great to masterful precisions and artistry mind you—the process of photography is still an important if not essential artistry for us. Our goal is to capture and/or add meaning. The artistry is in shooting with a camera specifically designed for that task but then to be immersed within the task of capturing. Creative photo shoots to create upon the canvas that is life or even to tell stories akin to video and movie making. We’re still shooting will DSLR’s because that not only what we have but because that’s where this artistry passion is anchored.

Color Tone: Muted, warm, and sophisticated. Think cinematic lighting with a subtle urban edge.

Story Snippets: Include a one-sentence caption or quote from the subject for each portrait, hinting at their journey or perspective.

As we continue to push forward the agenda of Leadership within the Black and Brown (and associated) Visual Arts and Creative Communities, we’re developing tools and resources to bolster our enthusiasm and support. Inspired by such platforms and programs like Stephen Covey’s “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People”, The 48 Laws of Power and Robert Kiyosaki’s “Rich Dad, Poor Dad”, we’re infusing our experiences within the varied and multifaceted Black and Brown African American Communities and the local Urban Art worlds to further create resources and tools to help others see a way within creativity, entrepreneurship and more.

MOTIVATED TO CONNECT MORE.

Community is what people need. Community is what a lot of us need. Visual Artists and Creators that do not necessarily fall under being Content Creators.

This is a prime time to take advantage of the opportunities—the opportunities to reach out and build with others to create networks. Visual Artists and Writers and other Creators that do not just necessarily fall under the title of Content Creator, we’re striving to build with you.

We believe in the capacity of intelligence, the presence of ethnicity, and the demonstration of innovation within creating artwork. We believe in the innate ability of humans to create and to create in ways—sometimes unconsciously and passively—where they are not only pushing the boundaries of societies but the stretching and pushing forward of ones only intelligent uniqueness and individuality—to create beyond the confines of their biological and physical presence. We believe in visual artists such that we operate with a knowledge that no Ai or other advanced technology nor owning entity or corporation can ever replace that which is uniquely human…nor should it.

CONTINUING WITH "BLACK BRILLIANCE".

As we further our creative activities within THE 2025 DESIGN QUARTER, we’re still engaging our Custom IP Project “Black Brilliance”.

“The Message” - Acrylic Paint on Arches Oil Paper. *“Beyond Black, Brilliant!”*

Maintaining activities within this project, we’re continuing to develop Canva Paint, Sketch and other hand-made projects as well as new Design projects. Having this project featured as a key component of this year’s theme of “Change. Art. Social Justice.” we’re striving to keep the creativity consistent and aligned across mediums and genres.

The concepts of our art are based upon Abstract Minimalism. Mixed with African American, African, Native American and Hispanic spiritual and cultural influences, we’re attempting to develop works for content and social media as well as environmental aesthetic and apparel products.

If you’re an Artist within the North Bethesda, MD and surrounding Washington, DC areas, we’d like to connect with you.

While we’re working to develop and bring custom products to market, we’re also looking to further build out our own local community Arts Group. We want to communicate, celebrate and support other artists within the area. Share ideas and opportunities and work to boost others up, we believe in the opportunities to create a new space for creatives and visual artists. Representing Communities of Color, Ethnicity and Culture, we want to add to the tapestry of the local DC areas the hidden gems that are the artists that have yet to be discovered.
