CONVEYING ME.

THE HURDLE TO OVERCOME SOMETIMES IS IN FINDING TRUE SELF-VALUE AND CONFIDENCE.

A friend of mine commented that no one really knows who I am. No one really knows what I’m all about. It was said that with everything going on within the Communities of Color, it would be nice to use as many of my resources as possible to be a part of my Artistry. I should be a part of my art and artwork catalogue.

As a perspective that African Americans, Black and Brown People, and People Color, Ethnicity and Culture are seeing efforts of adversity, trial and tribulation today, I believe there’s an inherent importance to capturing and conveying not only the concepts, ideas, and works I do but also in capturing and conveying myself. My being. My existence. My identity…as Black Man, an African American Man, a Melanated Man of this modern world. While my social media omits much of my life for safety, privacy and security reasons, it’s perhaps time to strive to just convey more of me…especially as my own work of art and creativity. My life as Creative Living or Living Creatively.

Perhaps if this is done well, a series titled “A Black Family: Living Creatively”? Perhaps. 😉
