I’m a Father and Husband while being an Artist, Designer and Photographer. I’ve been moderately loved and almost abundantly hated for ensuring my own survival. I’ve endured child abuse and abandonment and even lies about my father only to never learn the truth. I’ve existed in a place and space where I questioned my own existence being told that I shouldn’t be here and that I wasn’t intended because “she” wasn’t in love with my father…which is why she couldn’t remember who he was.
I’ve seen loss. I’ve known disappointment. I’ve wrestled with existing within lies when those lies have made the dimension, reality and life that was once me and my identity. I’ve known what it's like to feel like the step-child and to never truly feel accepted or included—fully included and accepted.
Returning to the ideals of self-work thru self-reflection not for self-mastery but to truly give and contribute to others.
I’ve known solitude and loneliness. I’ve known the feeling of helplessness within busy packed rooms. I’ve known what it feels like to cry only to have people believe you’re “doing too much” or exaggerating your pain. I’ve known what it feels like to be caged and even starved. I’ve known what it feels like to be reduced down to noting more than a burden…and out of all of this…
I’ve come to believe that my continued existence…is…divine. Divine. No more divine than anyone else’s but that which would be unique to every unique individual. This unique life of mine is uniquely divine.
